Eschborn, March 5, 2024 – UNIBERG is thrilled to announce that we have been honored with the TOP 100 Award for Innovation Excellence for the year 2024. This prestigious award is given to medium-sized enterprises in Germany that demonstrate exceptional innovation, and we are proud to be among this select group.
On behalf of compamedia, the competition’s organizer, a team at the Vienna University of Economics and Business examined the innovative strength of all participants based on more than 100 criteria from five categories: Innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation, and innovation success.
For UNIBERG, this recognition is not just an achievement but a testament to the unwavering commitment and dedication of our entire team to innovation. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every member of the UNIBERG team for their invaluable contributions and for being the backbone of UNIBERG’s innovation journey.

UNIBERG’s innovative approach is not only about embracing new technologies but also about deeply understanding our customers’ use cases to address future needs with the innovation. Our engagement in research projects, for example, with the state of Schleswig-Holstein and the EConoM funding project with companies from the construction industry we aim to develop solutions for, are examples of these efforts.

The official award ceremony for the TOP 100 companies will take place on June 28th in Weimar.
About the TOP 100 Competition
Initiated in 1993, the TOP 100 award recognizes mid-sized German companies for outstanding innovative strength and success. Led by Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke since 2002, director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, the competition highlights exemplary innovation in the business sector. Evaluation partners include the Fraunhofer Society for the Advancement of Applied Research and the German Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses (BVMW).
