On Rosenmontag, a special donation campaign took place in Darmstadt. Early in the morning, the aroma of freshly baked Kreppel filled the courtyard of the homeless counseling center Teestube KONKRET. Employees of UNIBERG GmbH and ENTEGA donated Kreppel for the planned carnival celebration, which welcomed around 100 visitors.

In total, we at UNIBERG GmbH, together with our customer ENTEGA, distributed more than 500 Kreppel to residents and staff of various social institutions of Diakonie Darmstadt. These included, in addition to the Teestube KONKRET, shelters for women, children, and men facing homelessness, as well as the drug assistance program with its streetwork team. The Kreppel were received with wide-eyed joy and heartfelt gratitude.

UNIBERG GmbH organized the Kreppelschmaus donation campaign for the second time. “The response to our donation campaign last year was overwhelming. The many beaming faces of residents and staff inspired us to repeat the campaign this year,” said Moritz von Keiser, Unit Director of the Darmstadt branch of UNIBERG GmbH. “A delicious Kreppel at carnival should be a given for everyone.”

This year’s Kreppelschmaus donation campaign was a joint effort by Darmstadt-based energy provider ENTEGA and UNIBERG GmbH, a company with locations in Darmstadt and Eschborn, specializing in the engineering, implementation, programming, and operation of network infrastructures.
